Budapest is main city of Hungary, Budapest is made up of three distinct town Obuda and Buda which are historic medieval city on Castle Hills on the west bank of the river Danube and Pest which is administrative and commercial part of the city, for its archaeological, architectural and cultural importance is listed as UNESCO World Heritage Site, Buda Castle on south part of Castle Hill next to the Castle District is historical seat of the Hungarian kings but today is Historical Museum of Budapest, the Neo Gothic Mathias Church with its colorful roof and wonderful interior is famous to see, in pest district you can find the National Museum, St. Stephen basilica with its neo Renaissance dome offers full view over the city, must visit the National Opera House, if you want recreation go to one of the Danube islands, you can enjoy in Japanese gardens, music fountains, small zoo, must visit also the Great Synagogue and Jewish Museum.
