Persepolis Shiraz is Iranian town situated in the south west. It is approximately 4000 years old. In the 13th century it was the center of the arts and letters due to many scholars and artists that lived there. Shiraz was the capital of the Persia in the 18th century. Shiraz is known as the city of poets, wine and flowers. It is a center of Iranian culture and the hometown of many poets; but it is mostly famous for many gardens that can be seen in the town. One of its attractions are ruins of old town where you can visit the tombs of the kings.

Shiraz is capital city of Persia and one of the most romantic cities in the world and known as the city of Poetry, wine and roses, two of Persia greatest poets Hafez and Sadi have their mausoleums there, the city is situated at an altitude of 1,600 m in the foothills of the Zagors Mountains, the first wine in the world was discovered here in its original clay jars, Shiraz is a city of parks and trees, beautiful buildings and wide shady avenues, the road from the airport into town is lined with rose beds, a foretaste of what is to come, Persian gardens the Bagh-e Khalili and the Bagh-e Eram are two that are especially outstanding, the unique brickwork of the superbly built courtyards of the central Bazar-e Vakil, Saray-e Moshir a magnificent pavilion where merchants used to conduct their business transactions, the Masjid Vakil by them bazaar entrance has finally decorated walls and ceilings and beautiful stained glass work and enamel lists and jewelers as well as shops selling carpets, textiles, spices and cooper, in spring is unmistakable heady scent of orange blossom wafts through the air, there is no more romantic place in the world than Shiraz the city of love, Qor´an Gate a modern, award winning architectural wonder, Government Palace Museum, Nasir-al-Mulk Mosque the traditional merchants house with beautiful painted ceilings and facade and mirrored porch, Takieh Haft Tanan a beautifully decorated pavilion in a lovely garden, Shah-e Cheragh shrine.
